Another way is by dipping the pieces in lemon juice before placing them in the refrigerator. The fruit should be consumed within one to two days. 
 
 

How to store pears?


 
Like apples , pears also turn brown when cut before being placed in sub-zero temperatures. Storing them in the refrigerator should be similar to that of apples, for no more than a day. 
 
Pears wither quickly, so you need to buy a quantity to be consumed within a week.
