The list is made up of most foods that irritate the stomach and can cause malaise in people with Crohn's disease.

Crohn's disease manifests itself in the excessive accumulation of white blood cells on the walls of the intestine, which leads to inflammation . The most common symptoms are stomach pain, severe fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, constipation, sore eyes and more. Sufferers of this disease may have stomach cramps or nausea when eating.

The following list includes foods that irritate the stomach and can cause malaise in most cases of people with Crohn's disease.

High- fiber foods as well as spicy foods should be avoided during inflammation , as they have a negative effect on inflamed intestines. Therefore, brown rice, cereals such as dried fruits, nuts, seeds and quinoa should not be consumed.

Alcohol and caffeinated beverages should be avoided. Dairy products are also not preferable because they may contain extra fiber. They are more difficult to digest, but can also cause stomach pain .

Some sources of fat that contain fiber should also be excluded from the menu. The reason is that the high fat content can cause gas and irritate the intestinal mucosa. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce beans, peas, fried eggs and salami.

Fruits containing fiber are also good to limit. Cellulose fruit juices should also be avoided . However, apples can be eaten if the skin is removed.

Of the vegetables should be cut beets, broccoli , Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, corn, onions and winter squash. Not all of these are high in fiber, but can irritate the stomach. To reduce the amount of fiber in vegetables, it is recommended to peel them.

Sweet things should be consumed in moderation, as they can cause stomach upset . It is advisable to exclude from the menu foods containing bran, biscuits made from wholemeal flour and jams.

Avoid other foods that irritate your stomach and intestinal mucosa . In case of any illness, it is good to consult a doctor, because he can prepare an individual diet for you.
