Baldness is associated with a lack of vitamins and minerals, so you can help yourself by following a sensible diet rich in nutrients.

Baldness is a disease that causes thinning or complete disappearance of hair in certain areas of the head or body. It is considered normal to lose 50 to 150 hairs a day.

The treatment of baldness is different: from medication to laser therapy to surgery. The reasons can be most accurately determined by a specialist, who will also prescribe appropriate treatment. What you can do to help yourself is take care of your menu.

Baldness is often associated with a lack of vitamins and trace elements. It is recommended to consume products that contain a large amount of vitamins A and B, minerals: zinc, aluminum, sulfur, manganese, silicon, copper, iodine. The diet should be varied and include dairy products, large amounts of cellulose, protein, polyunsaturated fats (omega 3, 6, 9).

Switching to proper nutrition does not give instant results. This is a long process and the first ones are noticed after 4 - 6 weeks.

Useful products for baldness:

  • Meat, eggs, salmon - contain vitamin B12, so necessary for health and hair growth;
  • Green leafy vegetables (broccoli, spinach, parsley, leeks, lettuce and all kinds of cabbage) - are rich in easily digestible proteins and carbohydrates;
  • Carrots, beets, celery, cucumbers, eggplants and zucchini - these vegetables should be consumed as sources of cellulose;
