More and more people are starting to care about their appearance, including their figure. Some of them try miraculous products, which they see in the advertisements for losing weight, others are rightly afraid of their health and trust the traditional ways to lose weight , increasing physical activity and normalizing their diet. This time is not easy at all and only those who are really persistent and not only want to have a slim figure, but also to keep it for a long time, walk it to the end. In fact, it is quite possible to use natural remedies to control hunger. One of them is corn hair, also known as silk. It will not work wonders, but it will certainly help reduce appetite and normalize metabolism.

How corn hair affects the body

This part of the plant can be used for weight loss for a long time (throughout the period of weight loss and then to stabilize weight). In addition to killing hunger and normalizing metabolism, corn hair also has a diuretic effect. Given this, it is necessary to take at least 2 liters of water daily, not including soups, teas and other beverages. Otherwise, dehydration may occur. Dehydration, although insignificant, has an extremely adverse effect on the condition of the skin. Corn hairhas a positive effect on the liver, normalizing bile secretion and lowering bilirubin levels. Its anti-inflammatory properties are also quite pronounced. By taking the product, you supply your body not only with vitamins C, K and group B, but also give it the rare substances sitosterol, zeaxanthin, quercetin, pyruvic and pantothenic acids.

How to prepare corn hair to reduce appetite

To suppress appetite, you need to make a tincture. For this you need 4 tablespoons of silk. Fill them with half a liter of boiling water and let them simmer for at least 3 hours. Then strain the decoction, squeeze the hair and add water to get 500 milliliters of liquid. Drink half a cup of the infusion 30 minutes before each meal.

Silk can also be taken in the form of an extract. To prepare such it is necessary for the hair to stay in alcohol for 3 weeks, and the ratio is 1: 1. Place in a tightly closed dark glass bottle. After 3 weeks, the extract is filtered. Store again in a dark bottle. Take 30 minutes before meals and the amount is 30 drops.

Are there any contraindications to taking corn hair

If you suffer from kidney disease, then any use of diuretics, including  corn silk , should consult a doctor. If you have sand in your bladder, don't be surprised if urinating is painful - the grit starts to come off. In the presence of stones, there will be movement in them as well.

Given the ability of this part of the plant to thicken the blood, it should not be taken if thrombophlebitis is suspected. For the same reason, silk should not be used for varicose veins. But if the clotting is slow and there is a tendency to bleed, then corn hair will say a beneficial effect.

If you suffer from a lack of appetite or your weight is below normal, do not use the product. Excessive weight loss is dangerous, especially for women, because there is a hormonal imbalance, as a result of which the menstrual cycle is disrupted and irreparable infertility can occur.
