What is the diet for?

This diet is used for a sharp worsening of the stomach and duodenal ulcers in the first 6-8 days of treatment, a sharp worsening of chronic gastritis in the first days of treatment, acute gastritis in 2-4 days of treatment, burns of the esophagus.

 

Purpose of the diet

Prescribes for maximum (mechanical, chemical, and thermal) sparing of the gastrointestinal tract, reduction of inflammation to improve wound healing, to provide the necessary food to patients in bed. < General characteristics of the diet Diet 1a is characterized by low energy value. The amount of table salt is limited, products and foods that excite gastric secretion and irritate the gastric mucosa are excluded. The food is prepared in the form of purees and porridges, boiled in water or steam, very cold and hot dishes are excluded. Feeding is 6 times a day in small portions, in the evening to drink milk.

 

Chemical composition and energy value of the diet

Protein - 80 g (60-70% animal), fat - 80-90 g vegetable), carbohydrates - 200 g, salt - 8 g, free liquid - 1.5 l. Caloric content - 1900-2000 kcal. Diet: 6 times a day a little. Drink milk late at night.

Bread and bakery products are excluded from the diet. Soups: mucous from semolina, oats, rice, barley with the addition of egg-milk mixtures, butter, cream.

Meat and poultry: lean beef, veal, rabbit, chicken, turkey.

The meat must be cleaned of tendons, membranes, fat and skin, to boil and grind (2-3 times to go through a meat grinder), to be consumed once a day, prepared as a puree or steamed souffle.

Fish: lean fish souffle, steamed or boiled, skinless (once a day instead of meat). instead of meat

Dairy products: milk, cream, steamed souffle from freshly made crushed cottage cheese. Prohibited foods: yogurt, cheese, sour cream, usually cottage cheese.

Eggs: only soft-boiled and steamed omelet.

Cereals: liquid semolina porridge, cereal flour, buckwheat porridge, oatmeal and rice with milk or cream.

Vegetables - are not included in the diet.

Appetizers - are excluded.

Fruits, sweets, confectionery: sour and jellies from sweet fruits (including berries), sugar, honey, lactic acid.

Excluded from the diet: raw fruits, confectionery.

Sauces and spices: not allowed in the diet.

Drinks: weak tea with milk and cream, fresh fruit juices (including forest), diluted with fresh water, rosehip broth.

The diet does not include coffee, cocoa, carbonated drinks.

Fats: fresh butter and refined vegetable fats added to dishes.

 

Sample diet menu

  • 1st breakfast: 2 soft-boiled eggs, milk
  • 2nd breakfast: milk
  • Lunch: slimy oatmeal soup, steamed chicken souffle, fruit sour
  • Afternoon snack: milk cream, rosehip broth
  • Dinner: rice milk porridge, milk
