Dishes For A Children's Party

Creating a children's menu is not an easy task in itself, but when variables such as a holiday, peer friends, and easy-to-carry and easy-to-eat meals are added to this equation, it becomes quite difficult.

Creating a children's menu is not an easy task in itself, but when variables such as a holiday, peer friends, and easy-to-carry and easy-to-eat meals are added to this equation, it becomes quite difficult. Moreover, they should also be interestingly decorated and tasty! We will help!

What to submit first?

A holiday for children is associated with them mainly with a sweet table, and they know exactly what it will be like. Therefore, trying to feed the guys with hearty and nutritious soups or healthy steam cutlets with a side dish is an almost unsuccessful task. Which, moreover, is difficult to implement, for example, when going out into nature. But you can make several options for fun and easy to "assemble" canapes.

Canape "Ships"

10 eggs, 150 g nachos or homemade chips, 100 g hard cheese, 5 ml sour cream.

Boil eggs, peel, cut in half, remove the yolks and grind them with grated cheese and sour cream. Fill the whites with this mixture and insert the chips into them so that it looks like a sail. For complete authenticity, such snacks can be served on blue napkins.

fruit canapes

On skewers you need to string fruits and berries cut into small pieces, follow the rule of sweet next to sour. For example:

strawberry-banana-kiwi-pineapple-apple; mango-blueberry-banana-apple-strawberry; watermelon-kiwi-pear-orange-banana.

Canape "Ladybugs"

10-20 cherry tomatoes, 200 g round unsweetened cookies, mayonnaise, lettuce, 100 g cream pate, ½ can of olives.

Cherry cut into quarters, olives in half, leaves to tear into pieces of 5 cm approximately. Cover the cookies with pate, take part with a leaf, put 2 quarters of tomato on top so that they resemble slightly opened ladybug wings, put dots on them with mayonnaise. The role of the head will be played by half an olive. It must lie on the pate, otherwise it can quickly fall off.

If you still decide to serve hot, then try these dishes.

Chicken skewers on skewers

The meat is marinated in advance and cooked very quickly on an open fire or just in the oven, so the recipe is suitable both for home celebrations and for going out (we wrap the finished kebab in foil).

Take chicken fillet (as many pieces as expected servings), corn oil, sour cream and lemon juice in proportions of 2:3:3, as well as salt and pepper.

The meat should be divided into medium-sized pieces. Mix the rest of the ingredients, keep the chicken in the resulting marinade for several hours, placing it in the refrigerator. Fry, strung on skewers, until light golden brown in a pan, in the oven or on the grill.

Koloboks

300 g rice, 200 g hard or processed cheese, 250 ml cream, vegetable oil, breadcrumbs, salt.

Boil rice in salted water, cool. Heat the cheese in a deep bowl until viscous, stir in the cream and rice. Form balls from the resulting mass, roll in breadcrumbs with the addition of salt, deep-fry. Then let the excess fat drain. If necessary, such koloboks can easily survive transportation in containers, and for the convenience of eating by children, you can stick skewers into them.

At home, you can also serve hot meatballs in spaghetti nests, giving them the look of angry birds from the cartoon of the same name. You can find the recipe for baby cutlets here >>>

pizza muffins

200 g flour, 1 egg, 200 g sausage, 100 g hard cheese, 200 ml milk, 5 g baking powder, vegetable oil.

Grate the cheese, finely chop the sausage. Beat eggs with milk, add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir cheese and sausage into the dough, let stand for 10 minutes. Grease muffin molds with vegetable oil, fill with the resulting mass to the brim and send to a well-heated oven for 20-25 minutes.

For a sweet table, of course, you need a cake and a couple of goodies that will surprise the guys, which means that those that are in stores will not work.

Berry no-bake cake

1 liter of berry yogurt (strawberry, cherry, etc.), 400 g of berries (strawberries, cherries, etc.), 0.5 kg of sweet cookies, 200 ml of milk, 30 g of gelatin.

Grind the cookies into crumbs, pour in the milk and mix. Gelatin pour 6 tbsp. water and leave for 15 minutes. Peel strawberries from stems. Put the crumb dough in an even layer on the bottom of the cake mold, place 2/3 of the berries, for example, strawberries, on top, placing it with the wide part down. Heat gelatin over low heat until completely dissolved, but not boiling. Then pour into the yogurt, mix with a whisk and pour the dough and strawberries with this mass. Send the future cake to the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. Garnish with remaining strawberries or other berries before serving.

Curd-banana dessert

4 bananas, 100 ml vanilla yogurt (or homemade without additives), 200 g cottage cheese, 50 g chocolate, 60 g liquid honey.

Peel 2 bananas, mix with cottage cheese, pour over yogurt and beat until smooth, adding honey in the process. You should get a mass of airy consistency. 2 remaining bananas, peeled and cut into thin slices. Place the curd mass in the bowls, alternating with 1-2 layers of fruit, decorate the top with a couple of banana slices and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

Biscuits on skewers

1 kg of ready-made biscuit without additives (if you want, choose a biscuit with cocoa - chocolate), 200 g of milk chocolate, 100 g of colored powder, 100 ml of berry jam, 100 g of walnuts, 100 ml of condensed milk, 30 g of butter.

Roast nuts in a dry frying pan, cool, grind. Grind the biscuit, divide the resulting crumb into 3 parts. In the first add condensed milk and knead, in the second - berry jam, in the third - nuts and melted butter. Shape them into lollipop-sized balls and string them onto skewers. Melt the chocolate in a steam bath, dip the biscuits into it, and then roll in colored powder, place them so that they do not touch during drying, otherwise they will stick to each other.

Meringue

8 egg whites, 150-180 g sugar.

Beat the whites at medium speed with a mixer, gradually introducing sugar until a stable white foam is formed. Preheat the oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Squeeze out the whipped squirrels in portions with a pastry bag - one meringue should be 3-4 cm in diameter, and send it to the oven for an hour and a half.

If you beat the proteins separately (2 pieces each) and add dyes to them, you can get colorful desserts for the holiday.
