Dry Fasting At Home: Rules Of Conduct

Dry fasting is a popular practice that has many advantages. In order to cleanse the body without harming one's health, it is important to familiarize yourself with the rules of dieting and exiting it.

Various techniques can be used to cleanse the body. One of the popular ways is to refuse to drink liquid and food. It is important to note that dry fasting is not an ordinary diet, but a spiritual practice. In the days of its implementation, a person is able to reconsider many things in his life. As a result, we receive not only physical cleansing, but also spiritual cleansing.

Advantages of practice

All diets have their pros and cons. The advantages of dry fasting include the following:

  • increase in life expectancy due to the release of stem cells into the blood;
  • rejuvenation;
  • reorganization of the body;
  • powerful anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating effect;
  • protection from adverse environment;
  • weight correction;
  • prevention of cancer diseases;
  • creating a reserve of internal energy.

Conducting rules

Dry fasting can be started without special preparation. A period of 1-1.5 days is recommended for beginners. The effect is significantly improved if you spend 1 day before the start of the diet and 1 day after it on raw food. Fresh fruits and vegetables are suitable for this. The salad "Metelka" made of raw cabbage, beets and carrots fits perfectly into the process. Dry fasting is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

To refuse food and liquid, you should choose a certain day of the week and repeat the ritual regularly. Over time, the body will get used to the schedule and will be ready for restrictions.

On the day of fasting, the amount of vital energy and free time in a person increases. It is not necessary to spend several hours preparing and eating food, so you can do many useful things. When the day of fasting becomes not torture, but a holiday, you can begin to increase the period. It should be added every 6 or 12 hours. All changes are introduced gradually. Specialists recommend the following frequency options:

  • 24 hours a week;
  • 3 days monthly;
  • up to 7 days every 3 months;
  • 7-11 days every 12 months.

Exit from dry starvation

It is important not only to follow a diet, but also to exit it correctly. On the first day after fasting, the amount of fluid consumed should not exceed 800 ml. A large volume can cause great harm to the kidneys and lymphatic system of the body.

Water is used to rinse the mouth, because a person cannot get drunk at this stage. To get rid of thirst, cool and acidify the water with lemon juice (1 fruit per 1 liter of liquid). It is also useful to drink herbal tea at this stage. Light physical activity on the day of fasting is very useful, so you should plan a walk or workout.

The recovery period should be calculated in a ratio of 1 to 3. If a person has starved for 3 days, the output will last 9 days. At this time, there is a possibility of deterioration of well-being due to powerful natural cleansing of the body.

Despite the obvious advantages of this practice, it should be followed only after consultation with a doctor. Fasting has many contraindications, so it is unacceptable to make a decision on this issue on your own.
