Alpha-tocopherol is an antioxidant capable of protecting food from discoloration due to oxidative processes. E 307 refers to natural substances and is added to products high in oils and fats to extend their shelf life. Tocopherol is known as vitamin E and protects the body's cells from destruction, preventing the oxidation of fats and slowing down the formation of free radicals.
The main property of alpha-tocopherol is its ability to regulate oxygen uptake at the cellular level, thanks to which it is recommended for oxygen deficiency, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes and malignancies. Vitamin E significantly improves the functional properties of metachondria, which charge cells with the necessary energy. This is especially important in the treatment of cancer and dysfunction of diseased organs.
Alpha-tocopherol is considered a vitamin of reproduction and its insufficient amount in the body in women leads to disorders in fetal development, and in men to infertility.
E 307 is used as an antioxidant and vitamin - to extend the shelf life of fats and oils, as well as to enrich them with vitamin E. Alpha-tocopherol is widely used in pharmacology (in the manufacture of drugs and vitamins).
One of the common symptoms of E 307 deficiency is muscle weakness, which is common in cancer. There are no external signs of vitamin deficiency, so it is difficult to diagnose, but this does not mean that the cells do not suffer and do not harm the body.
The functional properties of alpha-tocopherol are expressed through its ability to protect cells from oxygen deficiency, ensures the absorption of vitamin A. For this reason, tocopherol and vitamin A must be taken simultaneously.
The permissible daily dose of E 307 is high enough - from 20 to 40 mg.
