The additive E 464 is a stabilizer, preserving and improving the viscosity and consistency of food products. Use

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is widely used in the production of:

  • semi-finished soups and prepared sauces;
  • canned soups and sauces;
  • canned fruits and vegetables;
  • deep frozen products;
  • fruit fillings and other fruit products;
  • desserts, mayonnaise, etc .;
  • processed cheeses and dairy products;
  • yoghurt products and those made from powdered milk;
  • ketchup and various low-calorie foods;
  • confectionery and confectionery;
  • for the production of cellulose rubber in medicine.
