Eat Pasta And Don't Worry About Your Waist!

It is completely unnecessary to limit the consumption of pasta if we stick to our fit.

After the denial of pasta, it was the turn of the facts from a study that proves that spaghetti does not fill if they are, of course, consumed in moderation. The study was conducted with the participation of thousands of Italians and was provoked by the question of the role of pasta in the Mediterranean diet, which is popular for its good health effects around the world. The Mediterranean diet is based mainly on the consumption of vegetables, fruits, legumes, fish and seafood, olive oil ... Among the usual dishes of the people in this region, however, are the spaghetti-type pasta.

According to lead author George Punis of IRCCS Neuromed , Rosili, Italy, the paste can even be used to lose weight, and its consumption does not show any evidence of higher weight in fans.

The Punis team examines the files of 23,000 people involved in two separate large-scale studies - one studying the habits of the local population in the Molise region, and the other is nationally representative, aimed at feeding the population in the country.

Consumption of moderate amounts of spaghetti, pasta and similar products reduces the risk of overweight, researchers say. But how much pasta we can eat depends on individual characteristics and it can contribute to achieving a healthy body mass index, lower waistline and better waist-hip ratio.

For years, the goal was to avoid the consumption of any type of paste by people who adhere to their figure or sought to reduce weight , but obviously this restriction is unnecessary. However, it is not clear from the study what amounts are still healthy, given that we can always overdo it with something that tastes good to us.

The paste can be an enemy of the waist if consumed, except in large quantities, and too often with a heavy diet or unbalanced diet , emphasizing simple carbohydrates and fats in combination with sitting.
