Edema is called swelling or accumulation of fluid in human organs and tissues.
These are the general principles regarding nutrition. The diet should be individual for each patient, depending on the cause of the swelling.
With the exception of salt and liquids, for which the maximum permitted amounts are indicated, all other foods must be completely excluded from the menu.
If the swelling is the result of an allergic reaction, do not consume the causative product.
