Complete egg proteins have an irreplaceable contribution to muscle strength, provide constant energy and contribute to our satiety.
Whole egg whites have an indispensable contribution to muscle strength, provide constant energy and contribute to our satiety.
A study published in Nutrition Today covered 25 studies on the quality of eggs and their importance for our health. One of the most important conclusions is that they are a constant source of energy due to the lack of insulin peak after consumption, which usually leads to a reflex decline in the body's performance. They not only provide complete proteins, but also B vitamins, needed in many metabolic relationships - thiamine, riboflavin, folate, B12, B6. They are also a valuable source of the essential amino acid leucine. It is important for the development and functioning of the muscles, as well as for recovery after work.
The conclusions of the authors, representatives of the University of Illinois, USA, are that eggs are the ideal protein-containing product. It is better to focus on protein intake in the morning, rather than as everyone needs - especially in the evening. This would not only facilitate the formation of muscle mass, but also control body mass due to satiety during the day.
