Despite anti-obesity measures in some US states, with the passage of a law restricting the sale of " fast food" products , the number of overweight people has not stopped growing. This shows a new study by experts from Los Angeles, USA.

 

Too much margarine with a high content of fatty acid trans isomers , emulsifiers and leavening agents is used to prepare "fast food" . They seriously increase the risk of developing cardiovascular and other diseases.

 

Food with similar qualities seriously disturbs the balance of hormones. This in turn creates an imaginary feeling of hunger.

 

Last but not least, fast food has a negative effect on brain function. Prolonged consumption of products rich in fats, carbohydrates and artificial enhancers is associated with inflammation of the hippocampus - an area responsible for spatial memory.

 

And although fast food sales have dropped significantly in the past two years, more and more Americans are heart disease, cognitive impairment and overweight.

 

Experts comment that the government can fight the trade network, but not what is happening at home.

 

When a person has harmful eating habits, they are applied at home - by eating harmful alaminutes, treats and chips.

 

Another problem is that everywhere in the world harmful food is much cheaper than healthy food and not everyone who cares about their health could spend money on organic products, for example.

 

According to experts, individual governments need to show more concern for public health and undertake campaigns and initiatives to promote the benefits of healthy eating.
