Microsporia is a contagious fungal infection that affects the epidermis of the skin and scalp. Children suffer most often, the disease also occurs in animals.

Causes:

  • in humans - Microsporum ferrugineum, less often Microsporum audouinii and in isolated cases Microsporum gypseum;
  • in animals - Microsporum canis (carriers are dogs, kittens, rabbits).

Useful products for microspores

Foods that are sources of vitamins A, B, C and especially E, low in sugar, as well as hypoallergenic products are needed to treat the body.

Yeah, they're like that:
  • lean meats (poultry, rabbit, possibly fat-free beef and pork), preferably cooked or stewed;
  • fish (cod, sea bass);
  • skimmed milk without additives (sour and fresh);
  • by-products (tongue, kidneys, liver);
  • rice, cornbread or buckwheat flour;
  • spinach, parsley, dill, lettuce leaves;
  • oatmeal, pearl barley, semolina, rice;
  • fruits (gooseberries, green varieties of apples, pears);
  • vegetables (zucchini, all varieties of cabbage, cucumbers, turnips);
  • dried fruits (apples, plums, pears);
  • drinks (compotes of apples and pears, oshav from the listed dried fruits, rosehip decoction, weak tea, non-carbonated mineral water);
  • fats (oil, olive oil, sunflower oil).
Some more recommendations regarding nutrition:
  • not to consume products with mold;
  • dishes to be prepared only from fresh and quality products;
  • to eat less raw products, it is better to boil or stew;
  • it is recommended to peel fresh fruits and vegetables before use;
  • do not refrigerate food for more than 24 hours in closed boxes (especially plastic).

Harmful and dangerous food products in microsporia:

  • cheeses with mold, as well as sharp varieties such as Camembert, Roquefort, Cheddar;
  • sour milk products (sour cream, buttermilk);
  • sweetened carbonated drinks, champagne, liqueurs and sparkling wines, yeast, beer;
  • bread and pasta mixed with yeast;
  • pickled vegetables / pickles (cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants);
  • mushrooms;
  • vinegar and various salad dressings containing such, also marinades, ketchup, mayonnaise;
  • sauces (soy);
  • sugar;
  • smoked (raw smoked and semi-smoked) and marinated meats and fish;
  • sweet fruits (dates, raisins, figs);
  • sausages (hence the hot dog);
  • products containing fructose, xylitol, sorbitol;
  • fermenting products;
  • products containing additives with code E;
  • semi-finished products, fast food;
  • sweets.

In all foods listed as harmful, it is possible to have the bacterium Microsporum - the cause of the disease.
