Why Do You Need To Go To The Gynecologist Regularly?
Doctors recommend that women undergo a regular examination by a gynecologist - at least 1-2 times an hour. And if there are complaints, make an appointment immediately. The fact is that the majority of women's diseases proceed with sluggish symptoms, not causing concern, but in an advanced state they endanger reproductive health.
What does a competent gynecological examination consist of, and in what cases is a female operation required? The experts of the Dnipro Medical and Surgical Center named after WE. Pirogov
What is included in a comprehensive examination
A medical examination at a gynecologist takes up to half an hour and always includes the following stages:
- conversation - collection of anamnesis and reception of complaints;
- examination on a gynecological chair;
- taking a swab to detect pathogenic microflora;
- manual examination of the state of the uterus and appendages.
According to the results of the examination in the city of Dnipro, a gynecologist can refer the patient to ultrasound or additional tests. And only then prescribes treatment. With a positive picture, the doctor simply makes a note about the visit in the patient's card.
When you don't have to wait for a scheduled inspection
Gynecologists recommend seeking help immediately if itching and burning of the genitals, bloody discharge in the middle of the cycle, chest tightness appear. These are symptoms of diseases that require urgent treatment.
The following are also reasons for an urgent visit to a gynecologist:
- protracted menstruation (more than 8-10 days) with abundant and painful discharge;
- discomfort during sex;
- causeless pain in the lower abdomen.
However, abdominal pain does not always indicate a gynecological disease. Perhaps it is appendicitis, an ulcer or other urgent conditions. In this case, the gynecologist will immediately refer you to a surgeon.
In the city of Dnipro, the surgeon accepts both public and private clinics. Operative gynecology is practiced by the doctors of the Dnipro medical and surgical center named after N.Y. Pirogov
Female cosmetic surgery: what are they?
Illness is not always the reason for surgery. Thus, small gynecological operations are performed to eliminate a cosmetic defect, since problems "below the belt" affect the general health and condition of a woman, the quality of her intimate life.
The most popular operations are plastic surgery of the vagina and labia. Thanks to surgical intervention, the visual consequences of childbirth are corrected and age-related changes in intimate tissues are corrected.
Addressing such a delicate problem to a good gynecologist, a woman can count on confidentiality. The operation will be performed in complete sterility with safe anesthesia.
A big plus of minimally invasive methods in gynecology is rapid recovery of the body. So the patient will soon be able to enjoy a full life.
