The best way to get catechins from green tea is to drink a fresh decoction of the dried leaves. Other products such as decaffeinated green tea, bottled ready-made tea drinks have a lower content of useful substances.
The recommended amount for the day is 3-4 glasses. One cup of tea contains 50 to 150 mg of polyphenols. When taking green tea extract as a supplement, the recommended dose is 300-400 mg per day.
