Therapeutic diet №12 is used in diseases of the nervous system of a functional type.

It is designed to reduce nervous strain. Fats and carbohydrates are limited, as is salt, and products that excite the nervous system (coffee, alcohol, spicy and spicy foods) are excluded.

  • Sweets and fruits - fresh and dried fruits, honey, candy, but not chocolate.

  • Herbal teas, rosehip decoction, fruit and vegetable juices.
  • Vegetable oil.

Prohibited foods and products:

  • Fresh bread, puff pastry.
  • Fatty meats, sausages, canned and semi-finished products.

  • Sorrel, turnips, radishes, garlic, onions, cucumbers.
  • Chocolate (in any form).

About the menu

  • First breakfast: milk porridge, 2 soft-boiled eggs, herbal tea.
  • Breakfast: low-fat biscuits, rosehip decoction.
  • Lunch: potato soup, boiled meat or steamed meatballs with mashed beans, compote.
  • Afternoon snack: rosehip decoction or juice.
  • Dinner: casserole or pudding of permitted products, fish in cream, baked in foil with boiled potatoes, tea.
  • Before bed: kefir or other milk drink.
