How To Cook Appetizer Of Fried Garlic In White Wine With Spices - Recipe

Required products :

  • 10 medium garlic cloves
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons spice mix (rosemary, sage, thyme, oregano, savory, basil)
  • liter of water
  • 5-6 bay leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 60 milliliters of dry white wine
  • parsley to sprinkle the finished appetizer

 

Method of preparation :

Divide the garlic heads into cloves.

 

Put the unpeeled cloves in boiling water for 30 seconds, then pour cold water over them and peel.

Heat olive oil in a suitable pan, put the garlic and as soon as it starts to "squeak", reduce the temperature to a minimum.

Add the spices, bay leaves and fry the cloves, shake the dish for about 25-30 minutes, being careful not to burn them.

Then increase the heat to maximum, pour in the white wine and allow the garlic to cook until the liquid evaporates. Add salt if desired.

 

The finished appetizer is ready, remove to a plate and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

Remove the bay leaf before serving.
