Required products :

  • 1 baguette (old)
  • 250 grams of soft mermaid (Kamamaber, Bri or other)
  • 200 milliliters of cooking cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • butter

 

Method of preparation :

Grease the bottom and sides of the pan with butter.

Cut the baguette into slices of medium thickness and arrange 1 row in the dish.

Cut the selected soft cheese into pieces, which you put on the slices of bread, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.

Then make a second row of baguette, cheese again and do not forget about the black pepper.

Pour the cream, as it should moisten all the pieces of bread and let them absorb it.

Bake in a preheated 190 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until a yellow crust forms.

Serve the dish immediately while it is hot and the cheese is melted.
