Wash the potatoes well and cut them into long pieces (do not peel them). Pour them into a deep bowl, pour the beer and let stand for about 30 minutes. Then drain the liquid, smear the potatoes with olive oil, rub with garlic, sprinkle with spices to taste and stir so that they can taste good. Transfer them to a pan and place in the oven. Let bake at 220 degrees for about 40 minutes. They should acquire a dark golden color.
If you bake at 180 and cover the dish with foil, you will get soft potatoes.
