History of the Koksinha chicken bites:

Like all dishes with similar popularity, this one is accompanied by an interesting story. Many years ago, in a small Brazilian town called Limeira lived Princess Isabel Cristina Leopoldina Augusta Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga, who had 4 children. One of them suffered from an unknown disease and ate only fried chicken legs. It happened that all available chicken legs in the kitchen broke. To save the little heir to the throne from starvation, the commander-in-chief of the royal kitchen invented a new delicacy, the popularity of which went beyond Brazil. Namely - fried chicken with onions, a little cheese and spices, cleverly presented in the form of a chicken leg.

These so  delicious fried chicken bites  have spread not only in Brazil, but throughout the Latin American continent, prepared in different ways.
