Required products :

250 grams of pitted prunes
75 milliliters of rum or cognac
250 grams of sugar
200 grams of butter
250 grams of chocolate
3 eggs + 1 yolk
65 grams of flour
55 grams of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder

Method of preparation :

Cut the prunes, place them in a suitable bowl and pour over the rum (or use cognac). Let them sit in the alcohol for 30 minutes.

 

During this time, using a food processor, beat the sugar with the butter until you get a creamy mass.

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a water bath without stirring. It doesn't have to be hot.

 

Once melted, immediately remove from the heat.

 

Beat 3 eggs and the yolk with a fork, and in a separate bowl mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder.

Add the eggs to the sweet butter, beat on low speed and pour in the chocolate. Then pour the prunes and dried ingredients. Stir gently and briefly.

 

Transfer the dough to a form with a diameter of 21 cm, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment.
Bake the dessert in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes.

 

The finished brownie cut into pieces when cool.
