Learn how to cook "Bruschetta with salmon pate and cream cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

for pate:

  • 100 grams of whole cream cheese (like Philadelphia)
  • 100 grams of sour cream
  • grated rind of half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish sauce
  • 200 grams of smoked salmon
  • 20 grams of fresh dill

for bread:

  • 400 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 200 grams of white flour
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 equal teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 500-600 milliliters of whole milk (or buttermilk)
  • lubricating oil

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 230 degrees. In a bowl, mix the two types of flour and baking soda. Add the cumin seeds and salt and stir. Make a well in the middle, in which you add the milk in portions and knead a soft dough.

Transfer to a floured kitchen counter and knead until you get a ball, but be careful not to knead the dough.

Form the dough into a thick wick, then roll it in a greased pan.

Sprinkle with a little flour and bake on medium heat in your oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for another 25 minutes until it acquires a golden crust.

Cool the bread on a wire rack.

For the pate in the food processor, put the cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice and sauce. Blend until smooth. Add the salmon and dill, then make a rough pate with a few pulsating movements.

Serve the pate on the slices of soda bread.
