Required products :
 
120 grams of walnuts
220 grams of oil at room temperature
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon cognac
350 grams of flour
100 grams of powdered sugar + a little to roll the finished cake
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
Method of preparation :
 
Beat the butter together with the honey until creamy. Pour a spoonful of cognac and beat once more.
Cut or crush the walnuts, mix them with the sifted flour, add the powdered sugar and salt. Combine with the butter mass and quickly knead the dough (do not knead for a long time).
Shape into a ball and cover with plastic wrap. Flatten the dough and put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
When cool, form small balls of it (about 2 teaspoons of dough to make a buttermilk), which arrange in a tray covered with parchment. Let there be about 5 inches between them.
Bake the cakes in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes (until golden).
