Prune jam cake is one of the easiest and fastest desserts you can make when you feel like eating something sweet or when you are expecting unforeseen guests. You can prepare it with another type of marmalade or jam, add walnuts or other nuts. Try fruit essence or finely grated orange peel for a pleasant festive atmosphere.

Necessary products:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon warm water
  • 5-6 tablespoons prune jam (or jam)
  • 2 and 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (oil or other fat of choice)
Method of preparation:

Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Stirring constantly, add warm water, jam, flour, oil and baking soda. Transfer the mixture to a pre-greased and floured pan.

Put the pan in the oven, turn 180 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes or until done. Try to make the cake ready by piercing it with a stick. If you take it out dry, you can turn off the oven and take out the cake. Allow it to cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Cut the cake into pieces and serve.

Enjoy!
