Required products :
5 - 7 oranges
600 grams of sugar
300 milliliters of water
100 grams of dark chocolate
Method of preparation :
Cut the oranges (with the peel) into circles about 5 mm thick. Immerse them in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Then drain the water with a colander and squeeze to remove the bitter taste from the bark. Heat the water with the sugar and stir until the sugar has melted. Pour the oranges into the syrup and simmer for 1 - 1.5 hours.
Remove the circles from the syrup, let them drain from the liquid and arrange them in a tray, the bottom of which you have lined with baking paper. Put in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 100-120 degrees to dry (you can turn on the "fan" mode). When this happens, wait for it to cool, while melting the chocolate.
You can dip half of the orange rings in it, or you can spray them on top.
If you wish, make chocolate from milk and cocoa. You could also melt white and dark chocolate - you will get an interesting decoration.
