Required products :

8-10 tangerines
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tablespoons orange liqueur
1/4 teaspoon pistachios

Method of preparation :

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Cut the peels of two of the fruits into thin strips.
Pour the sugar into a small saucepan and place on the stove until the crystals melt and acquire a golden brown color. Remove the pan from the heat and carefully pour 1 1/4 teaspoon of warm water into it. Be very careful - the sugar will start to boil!

Put the cinnamon sticks in the pan, add the chopped crusts and let the caramel cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Then pour the orange liqueur and let the caramel cool for about 10 minutes. Water the tangerines with it. Cover them with plastic wrap and let stand for several hours. It is best to store in the refrigerator overnight.
Blanch the pistachios in boiling water for a few minutes, then dry and remove the top layer. Cut the nuts into large pieces and sprinkle with mandarins covered with caramel.

Bon appetit and happy holidays!
