Learn how to cook "Carrot cake with walnuts, cinnamon and cream cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 250 grams of fresh cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tea cups grated carrots
  • 1 teaspoon crushed walnuts

For cream:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of cream cheese (125 grams)

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour, pour in the baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt.

Put the curd in a bowl and add the butter, sugar and beat with a mixer. Then gradually add the dry mixture, stirring constantly on low speed. Finally, add the walnuts (set aside a little for decoration) and carrots, stir.

Transfer the dough to a form with a diameter of 25 cm, level the surface and place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Baking time depends on the juiciness of the carrots, but is approximately 1-1.5 hours.

To make the cream, beat the butter with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, add the cream cheese and continue to beat until the mixture is smooth. Then start adding the remaining powdered sugar in small portions, beating again.

When the cake is baked, wait for it to cool, remove from the pan and cover the surface with cream. Garnish with the separated walnuts and enjoy the dessert.

Enjoy!
