Learn how to cook "Cauliflower cakes with cheddar, chia and sesame". Delicious recipe.
It looks like a sandwich with bread, but in fact the recipe does not use flour, but is made from cauliflower, seeds and eggs, baked in the oven and garnished with cheddar cheese. A good alternative to traditional sandwiches.

Fill a saucepan with cold water, add the cauliflower flowers and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the temperature, cover and simmer until the cauliflower is soft. Strain.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Cover the bottom of a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the cauliflower with olive oil until the mixture looks like mashed potatoes. Pour the hemp seeds, chia, sesame seeds, green onions, garlic and salt and mix until smooth. Set aside for 15 minutes for the chia to swell, then beat the eggs in the mixture and stir.
Pour at a distance from each other from the mixture and form into squares with a side of 8 centimeters. Bake for 15 minutes, then gently turn with a spatula and bake until golden for about 8-10 minutes. Garnish the cauliflower cakes with grated cheddar cheese and bake for 1-2 minutes until melted.
Form 4 sandwiches, garnishing with cheese in the middle and cut in half diagonally. Garnish with green onions and serve while warm.
