Make indentations on half of the resulting "cushions".

The stuffing.

Beat the powdered sugar well with 1-2 tablespoons of compote juice. Spread the mixture on the sandwiches, which will serve as "lids".

Remove the fruit from the compote, add enough water to the juice to get 450 milliliters of liquid.

In a separate bowl, mix the vanilla pudding, granulated sugar and 5 tablespoons of compote (of these 450 milliliters). Bring the remaining juice to the boil and when this happens, add the pudding, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Then remove from the heat and add the fruit. Stir and allow to cool well (preferably in the refrigerator).

Whip the cream separately with the vanilla sugar and also cool.

"Assembly" follows.

Arrange the puff pastry (without dents), spread the cherry filling on their surface. Put whipped cream on it and close with the sandwiches on which you made indentations.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.

Enjoy your meal!
