How To Cook Chicken Casserole With Rice And Tomato Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 1/3 tea cup white rice
  • 2 2/3 teaspoons water
  • 4 pieces of chicken breast
  • 2 tea cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar
  • 1 can of 400 grams of chicken cream soup and mushroom (or 1 bowl of homemade)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons tomato salsa

Method of preparation :

Put the rice and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Once the liquid boils, reduce the temperature and simmer for 20 minutes until the water is absorbed.

Boil the chicken breasts until cooked. Cut them into cubes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a baking tray.

In a bowl, mix the two types of cheese, and in another, the two soups, adding onions and salsa to them.

Put half of the rice in the prepared pan, half the chicken, half the soup mixture and half the cheese. Repeat in the same order.

Bake for 40 minutes.
