Required products :
250 grams of flour
175 grams of butter
125 grams of powdered sugar
40 grams of cocoa
1 egg
peel of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon cinnamon and baking powder a
pinch of salt
For coverage:
40 grams of walnuts
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Method of preparation :
Mix the butter (at room temperature) with the powdered sugar, then beat lightly with a wire for this purpose. Add the egg, stir.
Mix the cocoa with the cinnamon, add the baking powder to the sifted flour, grate the lemon peel.
Pour the dry ingredients into the sweet butter combination and make a dough that you shape into a ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a while to cool and firm.
Dry the walnuts in the oven, crush them (or grind with a blender) and mix with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
When you take the dough out of the fridge, divide it into two parts and shape each into a sausage. Roll in the walnut mixture, cover with plastic wrap and return to the refrigerator for an hour.
Then remove the coating, cut into pieces about a centimeter thick and arrange in a tray.
Bake the cakes for 15-20 minutes in the oven, 180-200 degrees.
