Required products :

Muffin dough:

  • 2/3 tea cup sugar
  • 1/2 tea cup self-swelling flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 50 grams of dark chocolate

For the glaze:

  • 3 proteins
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream tartar
  • 500 grams of powdered sugar
  • red food gel paint
  • colorful sugar hearts

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Put pieces of paper in the muffin tin.

In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the oil and vanilla. Carefully pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is well absorbed. Crush the chocolate in it.

Fill the tins to the middle and put them in the oven for 7-9 minutes, until dry.

Make the icing, using a mixer, beat the egg whites together with the cream tartar until foamy, about 1 minute. Reduce the speed of the mixer and add the sugar. When fully absorbed, increase the speed and beat for another 5-7 minutes.

When the glaze is ready, divide it into different bowls and color it with a few drops of paint so that you get the desired colors - pink or red. Divide the new colors into two bowls, adding a few drops of water to one to make the consistency more fluid. Use the first mixture as a board when decorating and the second as a filling.

Draw the wings of your ladybugs, decorate with sugar hearts, sugar sticks or as you wish.
