How To Cook Chocolate Pudding With Bananas, Dates And Caramel Syrup - Recipe

Required products :

85 grams of butter

300 grams of pitted dates

1 tablespoon sugar

7 tablespoons flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons cocoa

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 tablespoons unsweetened yogurt or cream

1 banana

 

For the sauce:

115 grams of butter

1/2 tea cup cream with fat content 33%

5 tablespoons brown sugar

 

Method of preparation :

Pour boiling water over the dates, add the soda and leave for 2 minutes. Then drain the water and grind the fruit into a thick paste.

 

Mix the softened butter with the sugar.

 

Add the eggs, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and cocoa.

 

Then add the dates and yogurt. Stir well.

 

Pour the dough into a greased deep form. Cut the banana into thin circles, arrange them on the surface and lightly press into the dough.

 

Place in a preheated 180 degree oven and let the dessert bake for 35 minutes.

 

Make the caramel sauce. To do this, mix the butter, brown sugar and cream. Put them on low heat and stir until you get a thick brown sauce.

 

Serve the pudding warm, drizzled with caramel sauce.
