One cup of coconut smoothie with mango and orange supplies more than 10% of a person's daily need for potassium (an electrolyte that is lost through sweat). Required products :

  • 1 cup cold coconut water, without added sugars or flavors
  • 1 cup skim yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup fresh or thawed mango, cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 cups ice

* A tea cup is used to measure the quantities.

Method of preparation :

Blend the coconut water, yogurt, vanilla, mango, orange juice and ice until smooth. Serve in glasses.
