Required products :

1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons sweet potatoes, boiled
1/4 teaspoon ginger, ground
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup fresh milk

For garnish :

crispy bacon, finely chopped
green onions, finely chopped
sour cream / optional /

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add the flour and stir vigorously until it acquires a light caramel color.
Add the broth and sugar and after the mixture boils, reduce the heat.
Add the sweet potatoes and spices and let the soup simmer for about 10 minutes.
Strain, add the milk and return to the hob until it simmers.
Divide the cream soup into bowls and garnish with crispy bacon, green onions and sour cream.
