Required products :


150 grams of brown sugar
100 milliliters of hot water


40 grams of butter
3 eggs
100 milliliters of liquid cream with a fat content of 30-33%
40 grams of granulated sugar
200 milliliters of milk
200 grams of bread

 

Method of preparation :

Make caramel from the brown sugar and 100 milliliters of hot water and mix in a thick-bottomed pan over medium heat.

Stir until the sweet crystals melt, then reduce the temperature, bring the mixture to a boil and keep stirring until the color turns golden.

Then spread the caramel on the bottom of the form in which you will make the pudding.

Cut the bread into small random pieces and spread butter on one side. Put them in the dish.

Beat the eggs (at room temperature) together with the sugar.

Heat the milk and cream without allowing the liquid to boil. Add the eggs, pouring them in a thin stream into the milk combination.

Stir over low heat until thickened.

Pour the bread and sprinkle with dry pieces of bread on top.

 

Bake the pudding in a water bath at 160 degrees for 45-50 minutes. The surface should turn red.
