How To Cook Delicate Three-layer Cake With Egg Cream - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 eggs, with separated yolks from whites
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 125 grams of unsalted butter
  • 115 grams of flour
  • 2 teaspoons fresh milk, whole milk
  • lubricating oil

For garnish :

  • powdered sugar
  • fresh strawberries
  • whipped cream

Method of preparation :

  • In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites in the snow and set aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar for about 1 minute.
  • Add the vanilla and butter and turn on the mixer again briefly.
  • Add the flour and mix with the dough attachments.
  • Gradually add the milk, stirring the mixture after each addition.
  • Use a spatula to add the beaten egg whites and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the dough into a rectangular baking dish, the bottom and walls of which you have greased with oil.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 40-50 minutes. The color should be golden brown and the cake should shake slightly when you push it.
  • Check the readiness of the cake after 30 minutes and if the top is browned, cover it with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting into pieces.
  • Serve the cake sprinkled with powdered sugar and garnished with fresh strawberries and cream.
