We used to call dips snacks and served them with toast before dinner, now we eat them with crackers and vegetables in front of the TV or for lunch. No matter how you serve them, they are always very tasty. And this mayonnaise dip with cheese and pickles goes well with spicy crackers or vegetables, especially in the company of cold beer. 

Required products :

  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar
  • 220 grams of cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic and onion powder
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 hot jalapeno pepper, cleaned of seeds and finely chopped
  • 100 grams of pickled hot peppers, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Mix the grated cheddar with the cream cheese, mayonnaise, spices and chopped peppers. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with crackers or vegetables.

Then put it either in a box or cover the bowl with foil so that the dip does not dry out and form a crust.
