How To Cook Donuts With Strawberry Filling And Powdered Sugar - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1/2 liter of fresh milk
  • 2 yolks + 4 whole eggs
  • 70 grams of melted butter
  • freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar

 

For the stuffing:

  • berries
  • sugar

 

  • 1 liter of vegetable oil for frying
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

Method of preparation :

Make a dough of 200 milliliters of warm milk, yeast and 200 grams of flour. Its density should resemble cream. Leave it to rise in a warm place.

Mix the yolks and eggs with the sugar until fluffy. Pour the milk, lemon juice, pour the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well, add the thickened mixture and stir again. Then add the remaining flour and knead the dough.

Gradually add the melted butter, bubbles should form. The dough should not be thick. Leave it for 20 minutes in the heat.

Sprinkle flour on the surface on which you will roll the dough, and divide it into two parts. Roll each of them into a layer 1/2 cm thick. Draw circles of suitable shape on one layer, but do not cut them, just mark them. On the second layer also make such, but already cut them.

In the middle of the outlined circles put a little sugar and strawberries and cover with the cut circles of dough. Cut the base and pinch the edges of the two layers of dough. Let the donuts rise a little.

During this time, put the oil to heat on medium heat. Fry the donuts in it. Put the finished ones on a paper towel to drain off excess fat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
