Necessary products
For the dough:
250 grams of flour
25 grams of cocoa
100 grams of powdered sugar
200 grams of butter
2 egg yolks
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
For cream:
3 egg yolks
50 grams of sugar
20 grams of flour
200 milliliters of hot milk
40 grams of coconut shavings
For decoration:
coconut shavings
chocolate cream
ready chocolate decorations
Method of preparation :
Start by making the coconut cream. It is good to let it stand overnight before using it to stick cookies.
Beat the yolks and sugar with a wire whisk. Then add the coconut shavings stir, flour, stir again. Pour the hot milk and place the dish on the stove. Let the mixture boil until thickened, stirring constantly. When it cools, it will thicken even more.
Beat the butter (at room temperature) with the powdered sugar (use a mixer). Add the yolks, beat once more. Followed by cocoa, baking powder and flour. Add the latter gradually and stir with a spoon until you put half. Then start kneading your hands, adding the rest.
Knead until smooth and shape the dough into a roll with a diameter of about 4-5 centimeters. Wrap it in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for 30 minutes or until firm. Once this is done, remove and cut into circles with a sharp knife. Arrange them on parchment, leaving space between them.
Bake the cookies in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. When they cool, glue them in pairs with the finished cream. Garnish with chocolate cream and sprinkle with coconut shavings.
