How To Cook Dried Tomatoes With Garlic And Spices In The Microwave - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Dried tomatoes with garlic and spices in the microwave". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 5-6 tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 100 milliliters of olive oil
  • pepper
  • Italian spices (mixture of thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, garlic)
  • 2 cloves garlic

Method of preparation :

Wash the tomatoes and cut into two parts.

Then remove the inside with the seeds and cut each half into two more pieces. Arrange on a plate.

Sprinkle with olive oil.

Sprinkle with sugar, salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Put in the microwave and turn it on for 5 minutes at 750 watts.

Then wait for the pieces to cool for about 5-7 minutes. If liquid has separated from them, drain it.

Turn on the microwave again at the same power, but this time for 3 minutes. This is what the tomatoes will look like after the second heat treatment.

When cool slightly, run for another 3 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of cooling and another 2-3 minutes in the microwave.

It's time to prepare aromatic olive oil. Cut the garlic into thin slices and mix it with the fat (you can use another vegetable oil).

Arrange the prepared tomatoes in a jar, pouring each layer of olive oil and put the garlic pieces.

From this amount of fresh tomatoes is obtained about half a jar with a volume of 250 milliliters dried.

Refrigerate for a day and then enjoy the insanely delicious end result.

Enjoy your meal!
