Young housewives are often interested in the question: how to cook dumplings so that they do not boil, turn out delicious, so that the dough does not tear during cooking and the filling remains inside the dumplings. Here are a few tips to help you cook the perfect dumplings:

— Boil dumplings in a large saucepan with plenty of water.

- Place dumplings only in boiling water.

- Put dumplings in lightly salted water. For 1 liter of water, take 0.6 teaspoon of salt.

- Immediately after placing the dumplings in the boiling water, stir them with a wooden spoon. This will prevent the dumplings from sticking to the hot bottom of the pot.

- Watch the cooking time of dumplings. Do not overcook them - the dumplings boil quickly enough.

- Immediately after the dumplings are taken out, pour them with a little fat (sunflower or butter, cracklings or fried onions) - this will prevent the dumplings from sticking together.

Step 1

 

For work, we need dumplings, water, salt, a wooden spoon, a saucepan, a colander.

Step 2

 

Bring water to a boil by adding salt.

Step 3

 

Drop the dumplings into the boiling water in batches. The number of lowered dumplings should be such that they float freely enough in the water.

Immediately gently stir the dumplings with a wooden spoon.

Step 5

 

Wait for the dumplings to rise (the fire is below average). After boiling, cook for 4-5 minutes (the time depends on the type of dough and can vary from 3 to 8 minutes).

Take out the dumplings with a colander.

Step 7

 

Immediately pour a small amount of fat over the finished dumplings and shake the dishes well so that the fat is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the dumplings. Serve the dumplings hot.
