Required products :

About the breading :

  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 340 milliliters of beer
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For fish :

  • 700 grams of fish fillets
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • oil for the pan

Method of preparation :

  • Mix the flour, cornstarch, beer, egg and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Stir well until smooth, cover the bowl and cool for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Lightly dry the fish fillets and season with salt and pepper.
  • Dip in the beer pan, drain the excess and fry for 5 minutes until golden on both sides.
  • Transfer them to kitchen paper to drain the fat.
  • Serve the breaded fish fillets warm, garnished with lemon slices, cabbage salad, potatoes or anything else of your choice.
