Required products :
700 grams of fish of your choice
250 grams of rice
1 carrot
1 onion
1 sweet pepper
200 grams of mayonnaise
50-60 milliliters oil
spices for fish, black pepper
bread for breading
2 tablespoons tomato paste
salt to taste
Preparation :
Thaw the fish, peel the onion, pepper and carrot and cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrot coarsely.
Wash the rice (you can steam it in advance), pour cold water over it, add salt and cook until semi-finished.
When removed from the heat, drain the water and allow the beans to cool.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil and fry the vegetables in it, without the pepper. Put onions with carrots, let them cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Turn on the oven to preheat (180 degrees).
Clean the fish and cut it into portions.
Distribute the rice evenly on the bottom of a suitable form. Put the carrots and onions on it, flatten again.
Roll the fish in flour and fry on both sides for about a minute on each. Then arrange in the pan on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle with spices and spread the peppers cut into thin strips on top.
Make the sauce. Dilute the tomato puree with hot water (about 300 milliliters). Pour the products with it and spread mayonnaise on the surface. The sauce should cover the rice completely.
Place the dish in the oven for 30 minutes. If necessary, add water, the rice should not remain dry.
