How To Cook Fried Garlic Cabbage With Bacon And Onions - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • half a fresh cabbage
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • sliced ​​carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a pinch of paprika
  • 200 grams of finely chopped bacon
  • 1/2 tea glass of white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/3 tea cup olive oil

 

Method of preparation:


Cut the bacon into strips and bake it in a hot dry pan. Once it becomes crispy, strain it and set aside.

Fry the finely chopped cabbage, carrot, garlic and onion in the separated fat. Pour olive oil, season with salt, paprika and bay leaf.

Stir the mixture, pour the wine and stew the dish for 10-15 minutes. Reduce heat, sprinkle with black pepper, add water, crispy bacon and simmer for another 30 minutes.

Serve the dish warm and enjoy it.
