How To Cook Glazed Vegetables - Carrots, Radishes, Onions - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 175 grams of onions (small heads cut in half)
  • 250 grams of radish
  • 150 grams of thin young carrots
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 100 grams of beans - only the beans

for dressing:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil in a plate and fry the onion for 10 minutes - season with salt.

Add the radishes, carrots and sugar. Cook for another 5 minutes, then pour 75 milliliters of water. Bring the liquid to a boil, let the vegetables simmer in it for 4 minutes. Put the okra and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the liquid evaporates.

Meanwhile, prepare the dressing by mixing all the products, but add 1 teaspoon of salt to them.

Transfer the warm vegetables to a plate, pour over the dressing. Sprinkle with a few leaves of fresh mint and serve.

Vegetables are a suitable garnish for lamb.
