Required products :

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

1 3/4 tea cup semolina

3 teaspoons fresh milk

1 teaspoon water

2 teaspoons sugar

1 teaspoon coconut shavings

1/2 cup ground almonds

2 packets of vanilla

3 tablespoons cocoa powder or to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Pour the milk into a suitable container, add the water, pour the sugar, add the vanilla and place on the stove. When the combination boils, reduce the temperature and let it boil over low heat.

At the same time, mix the oil, ground almonds and semolina in another saucepan (again on a hot plate).

Cook for about 5 minutes on low until the combination swells, stirring constantly.

Then pour the hot milk syrup over the semolina, stirring constantly over low heat. Add carefully. Let the mixture boil until thickened and until it begins to separate from the walls of the vessel.

Remove the halva from the heat. Finally add the coconut shavings and stir.

Pour half of the amount into a cake pan.

Add the cocoa to the rest and spread on the white part.

If you do not want to, do not use cocoa.

Store the dessert in the cold. When cool, turn over on a plate and sprinkle with coconut shavings.
