Required products :

2-3 potatoes
200 grams sour cream
500 grams flour
2 teaspoons dry yeast
150 milliliters of warm water
salt to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Boil or bake the potatoes, peel them and mash until smooth. 200 grams of it are needed to make the dough. Add salt to taste and mix with the flour. Stir with a fork until smooth.

Then put the yeast, which you have previously dissolved in warm water. Add the sour cream.

Knead an elastic dough that can stick to your hands.

Shape into a ball, sprinkle with flour, cover with a towel and leave to rise in a warm place. In about 1.5-2 hours the volume should increase 3-4 times.

When this happens, knead the dough once more on a floured surface and shape into a ball with a flat surface. Put in a pan and let rise again for about 45-50 minutes.

Place in a preheated 220-230 degree oven for 5 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 190-200 and let the bread bake for 30-35 minutes.

Remove to cool on a wire rack.
