How To Cook Homemade Waffles With Ham And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 3/4 tea cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 230 grams of melted butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 tea cup of carbonated water
  • 1 tea cup of ham, cut into thin strips
  • 3/4 tea cup grated yellow cheese

Method of preparation :

  • Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  • Separate the yolks from the whites and beat the whites with a mixer until the stirrers begin to form soft peaks.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks and add the melted butter, buttermilk and sparkling water. Stir.
  • Gradually add the mixture to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until homogeneous.
  • Add the beaten egg whites and stir briefly.
  • Heat the waffle iron and pour the dough on the plates - the amount will depend on their size.
  • Sprinkle each waffle with 1 tablespoon of ham and 1 tablespoon of grated cheese.
  • Bake until golden brown, garnish to taste and serve.
